Description

You will join a global team that protects the accuracy of derivatives data and collateral operations. The team sits in the Product Management job family and works on a full-time basis.

The main system is Master Agreement Central (MAC), a web-based repository that handles collateral processing for the company's downstream systems and business functions. Margin operations, risk and control, technology, and client onboarding all rely on the data it holds.

This is a senior Assistant Vice President level role in the Markets business.

Responsibilities

  • Read derivatives agreements and enter their contractual terms into MAC correctly, so that downstream systems and stakeholders can trust the data.
  • Handle a high volume of daily requests from margin operations, XVA, technology, and client onboarding, fixing data and documentation problems in MAC promptly and by deadline.
  • Review collateral schedules for both regulatory initial margin and variation margin, and confirm that the collateral recorded in MAC matches the security agreements.
  • Investigate margin breaches raised by operations teams, find their root causes in MAC data, and take the right corrective action.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of analysis for internal and external audits, and make sure findings are communicated clearly to every relevant party.
  • Take senior ownership of project deliverables, coordinate workstreams across data, technology, and product, and help set team strategy and workload planning.
  • Contribute your analysis to discussions on MAC strategy, development, and maintenance that affect the platform and its users.

Requirements

  • Experience in derivatives documentation, collateral operations, or a closely related area of financial services.
  • Ability to read collateral schedules within security agreements and apply them to real operational cases.
  • Proven record of juggling several tasks at once and adjusting quickly when priorities change in a fast-paced setting.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Beneficial: Familiarity with MAC or similar centralised data repository platforms used in financial operations.
  • Beneficial: Working knowledge of legal agreements for derivatives and collateral, such as ISDA master agreements or credit support annexes.
  • Beneficial: General understanding of the Markets business, including how margin operations, risk and control, and client onboarding teams depend on each other.

Conditions

Full-time position.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The company's equal opportunity policy statement is available for review.

Benefits

  • Work alongside experienced professionals in the Markets function and gain exposure to many business areas.
  • Build deep expertise in collateral and derivatives data operations through structured learning and development opportunities.
  • Early exposure to internal and external audit processes, MAC platform strategy, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • A direct role in shaping team strategy and workload planning.
  • Access to the company's global network across Markets, technology, risk, and operations.
  • Competitive financial wellbeing support and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to your location.
