1Who we are
GUOLI LIGHTING COMPANY LIMITED (37 Lk26, Van Canh Urban Area, Van Canh Ward, Ha Noi, Vietnam) is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your privacy, write to support@wayjob.pro.
2What we collect
| Data | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account | Your email address. If you sign in with Google, LinkedIn or GitHub: the verified email address it shares with us and your account's id there, so we recognise you next time. |
| Sign-in | One-time codes (kept only as a one-way hash, and usable for 10 minutes) and when you signed in. To stop automated attempts, we count sign-in code requests per network address, keeping the address only as a one-way hash. |
| Your job search | Saved searches, favorite vacancies, alert and notification settings, your notification history, the vacancy you unlock and the applications you start. |
| Telegram, if you connect it | The id of your chat with our bot and your Telegram username, so alerts can reach you there. Nothing else from Telegram, and nothing about you goes to anyone else. Disconnect it on your account page or send /stop in the chat, and we delete it. |
| Fits Me | Your answers (field and specialty, level, tech stack, work model and region, salary floor, must-haves, goal) and your CV if you add one. |
| Your CV and applying | The CV on your profile (the file's name and the text we read from it, whether you add it in Fits Me, when applying or on your account), what's written for you (the CV tailored to a role, cover letters, messages), and the applications you track with their status. A CV added in the quiz before signing up is read for the quiz and not kept. |
| Payments | Your plan, billing period and status. Card details are handled by Whop; we only see the card brand, last four digits and expiry. |
| Usage and device | IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and actions taken. Used for security and to measure how the site is used: anonymously, with nothing stored on your device, unless you allow analytics cookies; with them, also recordings of your visits (anything you type is hidden) linked to your account. |
| Ads measurement, while marketing cookies are on | The pages you visit and the steps you take here (signing up, saving a search, applying), your IP address and browser, and your email and account id once you sign in, sent to Whop. |
| Messages and reports | What you write to us, for example to support, and the vacancies you report with the reason you give. |
| Where you heard about us | Once, shortly after you sign up, we ask where you found WAYjOB! and keep the answer you pick, and the line you type if you pick "Somewhere else". You can skip the question, and we don't ask again either way. |
| If you apply to our affiliate program | The name, email, channel or site, audience size and description you send us on the application form. You do not need an account to send it. We keep it to answer you and, if we work together, to run the partnership; ask us and we delete it. |
| If you join our creator program | Your email address, and nothing else until you tell us more. You do not need an account to join. We keep it to send you your link and, if you earn, to pay you; ask us and we delete it. |
3How we use it, and why we may

4How Fits Me uses your data
Fits Me compares your answers and CV with the facts of each vacancy (field, level, stack, work model, region, salary) to score and rank how well roles fit you. It helps you choose where to apply. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you, and employers don't see your scores.
You can change your answers, remove your CV or stop using Fits Me at any time.
5People who post vacancies
Some vacancies come from people who post them publicly themselves, for example a founder in a hiring thread or a recruiter in a job channel, with a way to reach them. With those vacancies we keep the name or handle they posted under, the contact they gave for applications (an email address, a Telegram or Discord username, a LinkedIn profile), the job title they gave, and where and when they posted it, so we can show where it came from.
We use it to show the vacancy and how to reach the person hiring to people looking for that job, which is what the post was published for; the legal basis is our legitimate interest, and theirs, in the vacancy reaching candidates. We never use it to market anything to them and never sell it. It is shown only on the vacancy, and only to members whose plan includes contacts.
We keep it while the vacancy is open, and for a short time after it closes. If you are one of these people, write to support@wayjob.pro and we will remove your details from every vacancy they appear on.
7International transfers
We are based in Vietnam, and the providers who run parts of the service for us process data mainly in the United States and the EU, so your data may be handled outside your country. When data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to keep it protected.
8How long we keep it
- Account data, saved searches, favorites and settings: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you close it.
- Sign-in codes: usable for 10 minutes after they are sent, then deleted.
- Counts of sign-in code requests per network address: up to a day.
- Your Fits Me answers kept on your device before you sign up: up to 180 days.
- Your CV: until you remove it or close your account.
- Application drafts and your applications tracker: while your account is open.
- Payment records: for 10 years, as accounting law requires.
- Security logs: only as long as needed to protect the service.
- Analytics events and session recordings: as long as we need them to understand how the site is used, and never longer than our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps them.
9Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data, or send it to you in a portable format;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- withdraw consent you gave, at any time, without affecting what was done before.
Write to support@wayjob.pro; we answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority, or to ours: the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.
11Security
Connections are encrypted, sign-in cookies are signed and can't be read by scripts on the page, and access to personal data is limited to people on our team who need it, by role, with every change they make to an account logged. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think your account is at risk, tell us right away.
12Children
WAYjOB! is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
13Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
