RMT Engineer for MRTT & Derivatives Programs

Description

A permanent, professional-level RMT engineer role has opened in Getafe, within the company's defence and space business.

RMT sits at the core of support engineering and integrated logistic support. It runs alongside design, development and verification, so the role helps build services into the design from the start.

Job family: customer engineering, technical support and services.

Responsibilities

• Agree RMT requirements with the Design Office and suppliers, and make sure the design meets them.
• Carry out maintainability, reliability, operational and mission reliability, availability and maintenance economics analyses, and produce documents such as FMECA, failure catalogue, BIT concept document, MTA, QMA and FRACAS.
• Run maintainability demonstrations on the aircraft and with digital mock-ups.
• Investigate in-service problems to find root causes, and recommend cost-effective corrective actions.
• Write RMT procedures, guidelines and technical reports for the customer, and answer their RMT questions.
• Represent RMT in multidisciplinary design teams and attend design reviews with the Design Office and customers.
• Liaise with Design Offices (concurrent engineering) and suppliers on RAMT requirements and deliverables.
• Support ILS, technical publications and materiel services within customer services.
• Maintain RMT data in logistics databases.
• Help prepare offers.

Requirements

• An aeronautical engineering degree (Master or similar) or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D DMU.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, as a working language.
• A team player who can coordinate with colleagues in person and remotely.
• An awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.

Conditions

Permanent contract, based in Getafe.

Hybrid working where possible.
