Description

The company offers business accounts, hedging and financing on one platform, aimed at helping businesses run and grow across borders. Founded in 2009, it is a fintech with more than 2,000 staff in nearly 70 cities.

This is a Madrid office role on a hybrid model: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

You will work on the API team, scaling the main web application and building tools and processes that let product teams ship features quickly and on their own while keeping the customer experience consistent.

The company wants people who ask hard questions, make decisions based on data and care most about solving customer problems. You should enjoy learning and stay curious. You are not tied to one language, framework or tool, but you hold clear views on which tools fit the hardest problems, and you stay open to changing them.

The company's platform streamlines and manages global cash flow, and the product evolves continuously to support clients at every stage of growth.

Roles span business development and engineering across the company's technology teams.

The company is committed to inclusion and does not tolerate discrimination.

Applications are accepted only through official company channels. Recruiters will only contact you from an official company email domain, and the company will never ask you to pay at any stage of recruitment. Report anything suspicious.

AI tools help with administrative steps in recruitment, but every hiring decision is made by people.

  • Write code that can be tested, with thorough unit and integration test coverage.
  • Use the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools that deploy services and infrastructure, and occasionally change them.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help build a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, collaboration and innovation, setting a good example in your own work.
  • You may be asked to be on call at times.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, including a record of building high-performance, client-facing web applications.
  • Working knowledge of algorithms, object-oriented and functional design, and established best practices.
  • Experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
  • Experience with IAM frameworks and related tools such as Keycloak.

  • Working proficiency with Git.
  • Excellent English communication and collaboration skills for working across international teams.
