Business Developer (FX Financial Solutions)

This is a graduate business development role in the Toronto team, in the field of international finance. You will learn FX and global payments sales with structured training, hands-on practice and mentoring from experienced staff.

The company offers business accounts, hedging and financing on one platform, built on its own technology for managing global cash flow. It was founded in 2009, now has over 2,000 staff in nearly 70 cities, and hires across business development and engineering.

Career paths include leading a sales team as Head of Desk, where a typical promotion happens within your first 12 months, or becoming a Client Portfolio Manager who advises on key accounts.

Responsibilities

• Find new business by reaching out to decision-makers in a range of industries.
• Research prospects, learn what they need, and shape your pitch to introduce them to international payment and FX solutions.
• Present your offer, negotiate terms and close deals, since your commission and progression depend on these results.
• Work with internal teams so newly signed clients are onboarded smoothly.

Requirements

• Recently graduated, with strong motivation and enthusiasm.
• Interest in or experience with B2B sales or client-facing work.
• No FX background is needed, as potential counts for more than your CV and the training covers the rest.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Knowledge of Mandarin, Spanish or French is nice to have but not required.
• Real curiosity about financial markets and how global trade works.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the drive to reach ambitious targets.

Conditions

Full-time, office-based role in Toronto, five days a week, onsite.

Base salary range of CAD 60K-65K per year.
