SAP Authorizations Technical Consultant

Description

The company, a large aerospace group, works across commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence and security, space and connected services.

The Global Business Services unit was founded in 2021 to standardise, digitise and automate end-to-end processes across overhead functions.

This vacancy is in the Systems Compliance team within Financial Systems, part of Commercial Aircraft.

The new Risk and Compliance organisation covers all divisions and secures finance authorizations on the group's main SAP finance platform.

The team mixes IT specialists with business and compliance managers. It works in an agile setup, using current risk and compliance tools and taking on projects inside and outside finance.

The role covers 70 legal entities across several countries.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP user access.
• Review user access rights regularly, identify risks and recommend changes to reduce them.
• Implement and maintain SAP authorization profiles and roles to defined standards and best practice, and help with design and concepts.
• Investigate and resolve SAP authorization issues, and give end users support.
• Work with central key users and IT teams on role design so business requirements and system security are both met.
• Help with SAP security and authorization audits and compliance reviews.
• Record and document security incidents and investigations when required.
• Create and update training materials, and train key and end users on SAP security policies and procedures.
• Help develop and maintain authorization and user management policies, processes and procedures.
• Support ITGC activities for authorizations and user management, including mitigations for SoD conflicts.
• Own your work packages within large SAP projects covering authorization and user administration.

Requirements

• A degree in IT, engineering or management.
• At least 2 years of experience working with SAP authorizations.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape architecture, modules and integration. SAP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP data flows, and of single and composite roles.
• Knowledge of audit, internal controls, compliance and SoD (Segregation of Duties) concepts.
• Experience on projects that deployed systems in the finance function.
• Experience with user support and ticketing tools. ServiceNow is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA, Fiori and BW (also known as BI) systems. ECC is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Gsheets.
• Experience with Change Request Management (ChaRM) tool or similar.
• Ability to apply suitable innovation methods, techniques and tools across an innovation opportunity's lifecycle.
• English written and spoken at B2 level or higher.
