Description

The business services unit of a large aerospace group was founded in 2021 and is helping standardise, harmonise, digitise and automate end-to-end overhead processes, such as procure to pay.

The unit is looking for a Specialist Business Analyst for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, to be based in Lisbon with the company Portugal SA on a permanent contract.

At this level you will handle complex tasks with limited supervision, lead parts of projects, and act as an informal go-to and mentor for less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Execute defined updates to dashboards for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, then progressively take over KPI dashboards, review intermediate delivery plans, and build a working link with Finance data and stakeholders.
  • Support the subcontracting process from purchase order tracking to goods receipt, and in time own it. Flag late-delivery risks early to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and drive Supplier Performance Review (PRM) milestones with supplier chain managers in core countries.
  • Help run workforce management by keeping structured workload and workforce dashboards for each domain and programme, and updating resource data with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Look beyond formal data status to spot complex business risks and opportunities, and turn them into clear insights for internal customers.
  • Work under the direct guidance of business management teams, help build solutions to recurring complex problems, and serve as a reliable operational contact for remote international stakeholders.
  • Take an active role in local initiatives that shape the mission of the company Portugal local team. Help centralise business management, standardise processes across internal customers, and improve ways of working using lean management and Six Sigma.

Requirements

  • A degree in business management, finance or engineering, or an equivalent proven record in business analysis, data management or operational tracking.
  • Experience from early career up to full professional level, gained through job training or substantial work in basic to advanced business analysis, data management or financial control.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent English is required. French, German or Spanish is a plus.

Conditions

Hybrid working, combining onsite and offsite work.

Office at Parque das Nacoes, with good public transport links.

Permanent contract.

Equal opportunity statement: applications are welcome regardless of social or cultural background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

Benefits

  • Career paths within the company core European countries or in other regions worldwide.
  • A team that is motivated and keen to build and shape the business services unit together.
  • An intensive, engaging onboarding programme.
  • Competitive benefits and development opportunities, along with flexible working arrangements that support innovative thinking.
