The company builds grid automation products for data-center customers, and this role sits at the center of the programs that turn their requirements into deployable solutions.
You will lead complex customer programs from first requirements and product development through validation, industrialization and project delivery.
You act as the single integrator between customers and the company, linking R&D, engineering, product management, application engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, project execution, quality, sales and commercial staff.
You will turn changing customer needs into plans that can be executed, scaled and repeated across a fast-growing data-center market.
The role suits a seasoned program leader who works across customer engagement, technical development and project delivery, and who can bring structure and visibility to tangled dependencies so decisions are made on time.
Responsibilities
Own the integrated program roadmap: milestones, deliverables, dependencies, priorities, resources and cross-functional delivery.
Run program coordination with strategic data-center customers, handling requirements, commitments, technical questions and changes across the full lifecycle.
Convert shifting customer requirements into clear plans for engineering, product development, manufacturing, supply chain and project execution.
Coordinate technical interfaces and the grid studies, modeling, simulation, validation and testing the program needs.
Get R&D, engineering, product management, application engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project management, sales and commercial teams working toward the same program goals.
Set up and keep up program governance, decision logs, escalation routes, risk controls and short management reports.
Track program risks, dependencies, changes, decisions, customer commitments and resource needs, giving clear visibility and control.
Find critical-path dependencies and resource limits, and push recovery actions and escalations quickly when commitments are at risk.
Manage the move from prototypes and product development into industrialization, customer projects and repeatable deployment.
Make sure customer requirements are baselined and that material changes are assessed for effects on scope, schedule, cost, resources and commitments.
Move decisions forward by defining the issue, naming accountable owners, setting actions and tracking them to closure.
Turn complicated technical discussions into decisions, owners, timelines and next steps that both technical and non-technical people can follow.
Coordinate completion, review and acceptance of technical and program deliverables for phase gates.
Feed prototype and project lessons into future product releases, customer projects and reusable program materials.
Keep an accurate, current view of program status, schedule, resource outlook, technical readiness and material variances.
Build customer trust through open communication, solid governance and early handling of risks, issues and escalations.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, program management or a closely related technical field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience leading large, technically complex programs with several workstreams, dependencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in technical areas such as power electronics, electrical engineering, power systems, battery energy storage, industrial automation, data centers or similar infrastructure.
Experience running both R&D or product development and customer project delivery.
Strong planning skills, including managing roadmaps, milestones, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes and resource limits.
Enough technical depth to question assumptions, spot dependencies, lead engineering decisions and talk with subject-matter experts.
Solid customer engagement skills for handling technical questions, changing requirements, commitments and escalations.
Clear, concise communication at executive level for complex program information.
Proven ability to influence and align people across a global matrix organization without formal authority.
Commercial awareness, including how technical and program choices affect cost, schedule, scope, resources and customer commitments.
