This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys leading client relationships, organizing cross-functional teams, solving delivery challenges, and helping bring enterprise cloud solutions to life.

We're anticipating future openings and are connecting now with great talent who'd like to be considered when the time comes.

Who we are

FormativGroup is a PE-backed Salesforce consulting and implementation partner helping organizations transform how they work through strategy, solution design, implementation, and ongoing platform support. We partner with clients to deliver scalable cloud technology solutions that align business needs, technical architecture, and long-term growth. Our teams bring together Salesforce expertise, delivery discipline, and a collaborative approach to help clients move from vision to execution.

FormativGroup is seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead complex Salesforce implementation and transformation initiatives across enterprise client environments. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including scope, timeline, resources, budget, deliverables, risk management, stakeholder communications, and escalations, while consistently driving successful client outcomes and delivery excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of project leadership, Salesforce delivery expertise, Agile program management, and client-facing consulting experience. This individual will partner closely with executive stakeholders, architects, developers, analysts, QA teams, and cross-functional delivery resources to successfully execute enterprise-scale Salesforce initiatives.

This role requires a consultative leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, manage multi-workstream programs, and ensure high-quality delivery across Salesforce ecosystems including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Platform, and related enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects across the full SDLC and Agile delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, financials, risks, dependencies, deliverables, resource planning, and client expectations throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Drive successful delivery of complex multi-cloud and multi-integration Salesforce initiatives involving cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, facilitating executive-level communications, status reporting, workshops, governance meetings, and delivery reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and leadership to align technical and functional delivery strategies.
  • Monitor project health through KPIs, financial tracking, RAID logs, sprint metrics, and delivery milestones while proactively mitigating risks and resolving escalations.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce implementation best practices, governance standards, quality expectations, and delivery methodologies.
  • Support solutioning activities including requirements gathering, estimation, roadmap planning, implementation strategy, and change management.
  • Participate in pre-sales and business development activities including scoping workshops, statement of work reviews, effort estimation, and client presentations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, including offshore and remote resources, while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate deployment readiness, testing activities, UAT support, release management, and production cutover planning.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while positioning FormativGroup as a trusted advisor and strategic delivery partner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing enterprise Salesforce implementation projects within consulting or professional services environments.
  • Strong experience delivering solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Platform, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • 8+ years of experience leading Agile software delivery initiatives across project, product, or program management disciplines.
  • Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is nice to have.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-workstream, multi-cloud Salesforce programs with complex integration landscapes.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed delivery teams, including offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce delivery methodologies, release management, SDLC processes, and Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and XP.
  • Experience managing project financials including forecasting, budgeting, utilization tracking, and delivery performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders, facilitate difficult conversations, and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand Salesforce architecture, integrations, APIs, data migration strategies, and platform capabilities.
  • Experience working in complex or regulated enterprise environments with an understanding of governance, compliance, and security considerations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced consulting environments while managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
