Description

The company is building a global digital sports platform that serves sports fans across commerce, collectibles, and betting and gaming. It reaches over 100 million fans through a network of roughly 900 sports properties, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and more than 2,000 retail locations, with a team of over 22,000 employees.

The company unit sits where collectibles, culture, and technology meet. It is building a leading global brand in next-generation collectibles and works across the wider Fanatics platform, which reaches more than 81 million fans.

This role creates digital assets for Topps.com and Fanatics Collect. You will turn brand systems, creative concepts, and product stories into finished work for ecommerce, app, lifecycle, and marketing channels.

You will combine visual judgment with speed and careful production work. Your job is to follow the brand guidelines while giving each product a clear story, highlighting its collectibility, key cards, athletes, artists, and cultural context.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce digital assets for Topps.com and Fanatics Collect, such as site banners, landing page modules, product stories, promotions, in-app content, email, paid media, and social posts.
  • Show product releases through visual storytelling that brings out their themes, subjects, cards, inserts, athletes, and appeal to collectors.
  • Apply Topps and Fanatics Collect brand guidelines consistently on every touchpoint.
  • Improve production standards, templates, and best practices as the brands and digital experiences grow.
  • Adapt approved creative direction to multiple sizes, channels, sports, entertainment properties, and releases without losing the original concept's quality or intent.
  • Create clear visual hierarchy around cards, products, athletes, entertainment properties, offers, and calls to action.
  • Use composition, typography, imagery, pacing, and content structure to make complex product stories easy to follow and engaging to explore.
  • Prepare production-ready files and exports that meet platform, accessibility, localization, and technical requirements.
  • Build reusable templates and modular systems that speed up recurring asset production and keep it consistent.
  • Retouch, composite, resize, and optimize product and card images while keeping premium quality and accurate product representation.
  • Work with brand designers, product designers, copywriters, marketers, merchandisers, producers, and developers from brief to final delivery.
  • Handle several requests at once, act on feedback, and clearly communicate timing, dependencies, and risks.
  • Keep source files, naming conventions, version control, and asset libraries organized so work can be reused and handed off.
  • Suggest ideas that improve craft, efficiency, storytelling, and consistency in the production process.

Requirements

  • About 3 to 5 years of experience in visual design, digital production design, marketing design, ecommerce, or a related field.
  • A portfolio that shows strong typography, layout, image composition, color, hierarchy, and detail across digital formats.
  • Examples of visual design that tell a product story, rather than just showing a product or resizing campaign assets.
  • Advanced skill in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience working within and upholding established brand guidelines across many channels and formats.
  • The judgment to keep brand consistency while making deliberate creative choices suited to the product, audience, and placement.
  • Strong skills in image editing, compositing, retouching, and file preparation.
  • Understanding of responsive web design and how creative assets perform on desktop and mobile.
  • Careful organization and quality control, including checking copy, crops, alignment, image resolution, and export specs.
  • Ability to work in a fast environment with overlapping launches, feedback rounds, and deadlines.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative, low-ego attitude.
  • Experience designing for ecommerce, marketplaces, consumer apps, sports, entertainment, collectibles, or culture-led brands.
  • Experience building editorial or content-led digital work that links products to wider stories, people, and culture.
  • Working knowledge of motion design and tools such as After Effects or Rive.
  • Experience with content management systems and designing modular assets for repeatable publishing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance needs for web and app imagery.
  • Interest in trading cards, collecting, sports, or fandom.
  • Success here means delivering polished, accurate work across a high volume of requests, with organized files and assets that feel native to each channel.
  • You become a trusted brand champion who keeps every execution cohesive while giving each product its own compelling story, and you help the team move faster by improving templates, standards, and visual systems over time.

Conditions

The team values attention to detail: card image quality, product story clarity, system consistency, and polish in every interaction. You will balance creative craft with practical execution in a collaborative, fast-moving setting.
