Description

The company is building a digital sports platform for fans, covering commerce, collectibles, and betting and gaming, with a database of over 100 million fans and about 900 sports properties.

Fanatics Collect is the trading card marketplace and collector platform inside the company. The team is building a new collectibles company that spans collectibles, culture, and technology.

This role sits on the Fanatics Collect team and reports to the Senior Director, Product Marketing. You will own product marketing for Topps experiences from collector research through launch and measurement, covering Tier A releases, Red Rookie Redemptions, the wider redemptions program, and Instant Packs.

Responsibilities

  • Run collector research on redemptions and checklists, and turn pain points into personas and JTBD that feed the Topps on Collect roadmap.
  • Represent the collector's view on Topps releases across Fanatics Collect and Live, working with Product, Topps stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Work with Product on the Topps on Collect roadmap, value proposition, and early go-to-market planning for major releases, Red Rookie Redemptions, and Instant Packs.
  • Create integrated launch plans for major Topps releases, Red Rookie Redemptions, the broader redemptions program, and Instant Packs. Set goals, timelines, and owners across Product, Topps.com, and Studio.
  • Write distinct messaging for each Topps-branded moment on Fanatics Collect, aligned with Topps.com.
  • Give CX, AM, and seller-facing teams playbooks and talking points for Topps releases and redemptions.
  • Set and track metrics for launches and product marketing, including awareness, adoption, retention, and redemption completion, and optimize after launch.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of product marketing experience on consumer technology products, including owning digital launches and end-to-end go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience with mobile apps, marketplaces, streaming, fintech, gaming, collectibles, or consumer commerce is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with qualitative research such as interviews, feedback loops, and journey mapping, turned into personas, JTBD, or roadmap input.
  • Proven track record building and leading an integrated launch plan from positioning through enablement and post-launch measurement.
  • Strong record of aligning Product, Growth, Creative, and Commercial teams without direct authority over them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, from insight memos to launch briefs.
  • Able to work independently while taking direction from leadership.
  • Familiarity with trading cards, redemption programs, or licensed sports and entertainment products is a strong plus.
