IT Solutions Design Lead

Description

The company is hiring a solution design lead for its Service Business Solutions team, working closely with business partners and several IT teams.

The role supports analysis of new solutions and brings technical depth in domain and platform architecture.

This role is not remote and is based in Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

• You will work with the technical and enterprise architects to shape and keep improving the end-to-end solution and platform strategy, so it matches business goals, processes and technology.
• You will help the program manager turn complex business demands into practical solution designs, assessing functional, architectural and integration effects.
• You will lead solution design and option assessment, recommending the best fit across Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, AI-based solutions and cloud-native architectures.
• You will find and evaluate new tools, platforms and technologies for emerging or unusual business needs in the Service IT landscape.
• You will help with commercial and delivery decisions by assessing supplier proposals, solution architectures and delivery approaches, then recommending the best path.
• You will own and maintain the overall solution architecture, application landscape and future-state integration blueprint for Business Process Solutions.
• You will check supplier deliverables against business requirements, functional design and architectural expectations, giving prompt, constructive feedback.
• You will contribute to innovation and proof-of-concept work, working hands-on with architects and developers to test new ideas and emerging technologies.
• You will be the main link between business stakeholders and IT, using your integration knowledge and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years in solution, application or platform architecture in large enterprise environments.
• Strong business process knowledge in at least two of these areas: Installed Base Management, Field Service Management, Asset Performance Management, Tools Management, Customer Portal, Sites Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft and cloud-based integrations, plus a strong grasp of integration patterns, API-led architectures and event-driven solutions.
• Either experience leading or strongly influencing technical teams, or a deep development background of 5+ years with readiness to own solutions.
• Ideally, a solid technical foundation in.NET/C, SQL, JavaScript, integration layers and DevOps, including code repositories, branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines (for example, Azure DevOps).
