Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed to work in harsh, demanding conditions.

The Product Design team designs the human interfaces for complex autonomous and mission-critical systems, aiming for products that are clear, intuitive and dependable.

This role focuses on software interfaces for interconnected systems, where clarity, speed and purpose matter and operators need to trust what they see.

Recent graduates with a strong portfolio and experienced designers looking for deeper work are both welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Create scalable, clean UX and UI designs, moving from wireframes to high-resolution concepts and working prototypes.
  • Turn complex, abstract problems into practical design solutions, questioning existing approaches where useful.
  • Simplify complicated systems used in high-stakes, real-world environments.
  • Take ownership of your design decisions and work well in a fast, agile setting.
  • Work with experts and stakeholders who hold different views, and help the group agree on key design decisions.

Requirements

  • A co-creative mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Use AI tools every day to design and prototype very quickly.
  • Experience with systems-of-systems design thinking, or with design across mobile, desktop and wearable platforms.
  • Solid UX and UI skills across the whole design process.
  • Present design work openly, tactfully and clearly, without ego.
  • A portfolio of work samples that shows all of the above.
  • Fluent English for everyday work.
  • C1-level German. Other languages are a plus.

Conditions

Work in the defence sector requires you to be eligible to obtain and keep the security clearance needed for this role.

Clearance details will be shared during the recruitment process.

Benefits

  • Your work on software and systems helps protect personnel and supports European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside leading specialists in autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • A fast, collaborative environment where bold ideas receive substantial R&D support.
