Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and partners, designed for demanding operating environments.

The Operations Excellence team sits in the COO organization and works as an internal strategic partner to managers, team leads and colleagues. It delivers data-driven insights, leads key projects and drives ongoing process improvement to help the organization run more efficiently and reach its goals faster.

As an individual contributor, you own complex initiatives from start to finish and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders. You will help shape core operating processes and influence key decisions. The company is one of Europe's fastest-growing unicorns.

This role builds and deploys automations that remove manual work in operations and back-office functions. You will combine RPA, LLM-based tooling and API integrations, applying them to everything from invoice approval chains to production line data feeds. Success is measured in hours saved and errors removed.

Responsibilities

  • Build RPA workflows for operational and back-office processes using UiPath, Power Automate or an equivalent tool.
  • Create LLM-based tools for document-heavy work such as invoice extraction, quality certificates, order processing and email triage.
  • Connect automations to ERP, MES and other business applications through APIs.
  • Build agent-based workflows for steps that need multi-step reasoning or decisions.
  • Test and deploy automations into production, then monitor, alert on and respond to incidents.
  • Document automation logic, dependencies and maintenance procedures in detail.
  • Work with operational and back-office teams to find, scope and rank new automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience building automations in an operational or business process setting.
  • Proven record of automations running in production, not only in proofs of concept or demo environments.
  • Hands-on production experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate or an equivalent.
  • Python scripting for custom automation logic, API integration and LLM tool use.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and data exchange across ERP and business systems.
  • Process analysis skills and a QA mindset, since automations must be reliable as well as functional.
  • A BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field.
  • Experience with LLM tooling, including prompt engineering and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
  • Experience in manufacturing or in back-office finance or operations.
  • To apply, send your CV in English.

Conditions

You must be eligible to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for this role. Details are provided during recruitment.

Because the work is in the defence sector, this clearance requirement applies to all candidates.

The company welcomes applicants of all genders.

Benefits

  • Your work on software and systems helps protect personnel and supports European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside leading specialists in autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • The environment is fast-moving and collaborative, and bold ideas are backed by substantial R&D funding.
