Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed to work in harsh operating conditions.

Its work on European and national security combines experienced engineers, agile technology and an AI-first way of working.

The Software Engineering team in Greece designs airborne software architectures for defence platforms. • Design, build and maintain Linux-based companion computer software and real-time mission management subsystems.
  • Write software in C++ and Python and integrate it using Gerrit, Git and automated test tools.
  • Create dependable APIs and inter-process communication mechanisms for low-latency links to hardware and autopilots.
  • Review code, set engineering standards and mentor colleagues on code quality.
  • Work with flight test and hardware teams to verify mission management software on target platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of software development in C++ and Python on Linux.
  • Proven hands-on skill with Gerrit code review workflows and Git version control.
  • Solid background in autopilot integration and embedded mission management software.
  • Experience with ROS, ROS2 or similar robotics frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the MAVLink UAV communication protocol and with designing safety-critical software.

Conditions

Based in Greece.

You must be eligible to obtain and keep the security clearance this role requires. Details follow during recruitment.

Benefits

  • Your software and systems help protect personnel and safeguard European and national sovereignty.
  • You work alongside leading experts in autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • A collaborative, quick-moving setting where bold ideas are backed by substantial R&D support.
