Who We Are Looking For

Charles River Development , a State Street company, is seeking a Vice President of Technical Product Manager to lead a portfolio of platform products that improve client experience, software delivery, and operational efficiency. This hands-on, business-to-technology leadership role is accountable for product strategy, roadmap management, requirements definition, delivery, adoption, lifecycle management, and team leadership across Client deliveries and unified experience for front to middle testing and deployment.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cloud Operations, and client-facing teams to translate business, client, and operational needs into scalable platform capabilities. This role requires a senior product leader and people manager who can lead and develop a product management team, operate effectively in an agile delivery model, communicate with technical and business stakeholders, and drive measurable outcomes across reliability, automation, usability, and client adoption.

Why this role is important to us

The Charles River Investment Management Solution is a market-leading, end-to-end investment management platform supporting front, middle, and back-office workflows. The Platform Product Management team enables development teams to build with consistent technologies and infrastructure, helps support and operations teams run client environments at expected service levels, and advances the transition to cloud-native approaches.

This role is critical to productizing the capabilities clients use to deploy, operate, and engage with the Charles River platform. The leader will help advance client experience while ensuring platform capabilities meet reliability, automation, security, governance, and service-level expectations.

This role requires hybeid work model - at least 3 days in the office per week.

What you will be responsible for:

Product Strategy and Portfolio Leadership

Own the product vision, multi-year strategy, investment priorities, and integrated roadmap for client-facing platform products, including product customizations, client-facing enablement capabilities, and related operational efficiency workflows.

Translate client, business, technical, and operational requirements into standardized platform capabilities, processes, and tools.

Manage, coach, and develop a product/engineering team, setting clear priorities, expectations, delivery goals, and accountability for outcomes.

Balance client commitments, strategic initiatives, platform modernization, non-functional requirements, technical debt, operational readiness, and engineering capacity.

Define and own client-facing enablement products that enable clients to execute platform customizations, consume product readiness requirements, and manage their workflows without operational impacts.

Define product measures, cost to serve, telemetry, KPIs, and feedback mechanisms to evaluate adoption, reliability, operational efficiency, and client outcomes.

Shape the strategy and roadmap to improve client experience around usability, access to capabilities, operational visibility, and support workflows.

Advance AI-assisted client support experiences where they provide measurable client and operational value.

Manage a team of business analysts and other product management members for mentorship and administrative tasks
