Description

The company is applying AI across its products, platforms, services and operations, and wants to present its enterprise AI work to the market clearly, with a clear point of difference and a focus on client value.

The company is hiring a Vice President, AI Marketing Strategy & Activation to build and coordinate the go-to-market plan for its enterprise AI story.

This role picks and coordinates paid, earned and owned opportunities that raise the company's market profile and show clients how its AI work helps them. You will work closely with Corporate Communications, Thought Leadership, Brand, Digital Marketing, Events and business-aligned marketing teams to link AI stories across the enterprise and turn them into campaigns, executive platforms, market activations, client case studies and sales enablement. You will get results through partnership and influence, not by owning all AI-related activity.

The company has years of applied AI experience and is building intelligent capabilities into the products and platforms clients use. Work starts with real client problems, and innovation is grounded in accountability, governance and trust.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the go-to-market plan for the enterprise AI story, setting priority audiences, messages, channels, market moments and activation opportunities.
  • Turn the enterprise AI strategy into a focused marketing roadmap covering businesses, regions and client segments.
  • Find ways to sharpen the company's differentiation and visibility, with an emphasis on measurable client and business outcomes.
  • Find, develop and promote stories showing how clients gain from the company's AI work.
  • Work with senior leaders in Technology, Product and the business lines to agree priorities, proof points and activation plans.
  • Identify, rank and coordinate a strategic pipeline of paid, earned and owned opportunities that grows the company's enterprise AI profile.
  • With the relevant specialist teams, assess media opportunities, industry events, sponsorships, partnerships, research initiatives, awards, executive forums and other high-value platforms.
  • Work with Corporate Communications on earned opportunities, and with Brand, Digital and Media teams on paid and owned activation.
  • Work with Corporate Communications and Thought Leadership to find and support outside opportunities for senior leaders and subject-matter experts.
  • Build integrated activation plans around key AI milestones, client stories, thought leadership launches, product releases and industry events.
  • Work with business-aligned marketing teams to find and link AI stories across the company's products, platforms, services and operations.
  • Act as the central coordinator and strategist for enterprise AI go-to-market work, bringing together Marketing, Corporate Communications, Thought Leadership, Brand, Events and Digital without taking over their specialist roles.
  • Build one coherent enterprise story while keeping each business line's applications relevant and distinct.
  • Keep an up-to-date view of AI launches, use cases, proof points and upcoming opportunities across the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, go-to-market strategy, industry marketing, integrated marketing, strategic communications or a related field.
  • Experience in financial services, technology, fintech, professional services or another complex B2B setting.
  • A track record of building marketing strategies and turning them into integrated activation plans.
  • Experience working across marketing and communications, with the judgement to coordinate specialist teams while respecting clear functional ownership.
  • Strong storytelling, messaging and writing skills, with the ability to make complex business and technology topics simple.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working across matrixed teams and with senior leaders.
  • Commercial judgement and curiosity, with the ability to link market trends to business priorities.
  • Preferred: experience promoting AI, data, technology, digital transformation or innovation capabilities, which is a clear advantage.
  • Preferred: experience supporting executive positioning, industry engagement or major market activations.
  • Preferred: global marketing experience across several regions, audiences or business lines.
  • Preferred: familiarity with responsible AI, governance and trust considerations in regulated industries.
  • You think strategically and commercially and can shape a clear go-to-market approach from a complex enterprise agenda.
  • You spot where and how the company should show up in the market.
  • You are comfortable across marketing and communications and can bring stories, teams and channels together across the enterprise.
  • You lead with problems, outcomes and proof when you tell stories for clients.
  • You get things done through influence and partnership.
  • You are practical and organized and can move quickly from strategy to delivery.
