Description

The company is building one unified platform that brings together its products, data, insights and customer workflows into a single experience, with the aim of making it the main place customers go to access, analyze and act on its automotive intelligence.

This is a UK-based role, hybrid from the Central London office or fully remote from anywhere in the UK.

You will work closely with the Executive Director, Enterprise Platform Strategy, to turn strategy into delivery and bring structure to this transformation, which has executive sponsorship and wide business impact.

This is not a feature optimization or product owner role. You will help create something new while tackling complex customer and business problems.

The company, the company, operates as Mobility Global and owns CARFAX, automotiveMastermind, Market Scan and Polk Automotive Solutions. Its mission is to give people reliable information for buying, selling and owning vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Executive Director to convert platform vision and strategic goals into product roadmaps, workstreams and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the main product lead for internal stakeholders and outsourced development teams, making requirements clear and making sure platform capabilities ship.
  • Help define the platform capabilities, data foundations, customer experiences and workflows needed to support several products and future use cases.
  • Find places where AI, data and modern platform tools can improve customer workflows and decisions.
  • Bring customer insight, market knowledge, commercial judgment and product expertise to strategic decisions.
  • Lead the platform transformation by moving legacy products, processes and operating models toward a scalable, future-ready platform.
  • Favour integrated experiences, reusable capabilities and shared foundations over fragmented solutions and isolated features.
  • Balance short-term customer and commercial needs against long-term platform and transformation goals.
  • Question assumptions and established ways of working that limit customer value, scalability or speed.
  • Help shape a platform that supports the company's long-term growth strategy.
  • Work with AI, data science, engineering, UX and business teams to take AI capabilities from concept through delivery, launch and adoption.
  • Make sure AI-powered experiences are useful, trustworthy, explainable and built on responsible product practice, with transparency, source attribution, confidence indicators, user controls and human oversight where relevant.
  • Bring focus and momentum to complex problems where needs, requirements, priorities or solutions are still unclear.
  • Lead product discovery to understand customer, business, data, technical and operational needs.
  • Own and actively manage the roadmap and backlog across several initiatives and workstreams.
  • Set up prioritization frameworks and decision processes that let teams make progress across stakeholder groups.
  • Make trade-offs clear across customer value, strategic fit, commercial impact, technical feasibility, risk and available resources.
  • Work with engineering, UX, AI, data science, commercial, operations and customer-facing teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
  • Keep delivery aligned with the platform strategy so it does not turn into a set of disconnected features.
  • Get executive, commercial, operational, technology and customer-facing stakeholders behind one vision and roadmap.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, influencing decisions without relying only on formal authority.
  • Work with commercial, marketing, operations and customer-facing teams on launch, enablement, adoption and go-to-market plans.
  • Use customer research, product analytics, adoption data, support insights and commercial results to judge performance and guide future investment.
  • Tie product decisions to measurable customer and business outcomes such as adoption, revenue growth, retention, efficiency and customer value.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing complex digital products, enterprise platforms or large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience creating, launching or substantially contributing to a platform, digital product or product ecosystem.
  • Proven record of taking an unclear opportunity through discovery, prioritization, delivery, launch and ongoing evolution.
  • Experience on transformation work involving products, customer experiences, business processes or operating models.
  • Strong track record of managing roadmaps and backlogs, prioritizing investment and leading cross-functional delivery.
  • Experience bringing AI, machine learning, data science or advanced analytics into customer-facing products or business workflows.
  • Ability to run disciplined delivery in a complex environment, proactively handling risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to link product decisions to customer value and measurable business results.
  • Experience balancing customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, risk, dependencies and limited resources.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams without relying only on formal authority.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have: experience building AI-powered enterprise, data, analytics, market intelligence, research or workflow products.
  • Nice to have: understanding of trustworthy and responsible AI, including explainability, source attribution, confidence indicators, user controls, feedback loops and human oversight.
  • Nice to have: experience with data-intensive products, dashboards, reporting, visualizations or complex information experiences.
  • Nice to have: experience developing go-to-market and adoption strategies with commercial and operational teams.
  • Nice to have: experience in automotive, mobility, SaaS, B2B data, market intelligence, analytics or another technology- and data-driven field.
