Description

The company is a global media and entertainment business with three segments: Studios, Direct-to-Consumer, and TV Media.

It has entertained audiences for more than 90 years through well-known characters and franchises.

This is a London-based role on the digital product portfolio for the company's UK sports brands. You will work with Product, Engineering, UX/UI and Operations teams in London and Paris to deliver sports experiences for millions of fans.

You will run multi-team programmes, handle dependencies and keep delivery on track with clear quality standards and visibility.

The role suits someone who works well in a fast-moving setting, can bring order to unclear situations and can shape technical, operational and customer experience priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build sound delivery plans tied to the live sports calendar and keep teams focused on key milestones.
  • Run large programmes across web and mobile so they match business goals, product strategy and commitments.
  • Take ownership from discovery to launch, handling timelines, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
  • Raise delivery predictability through planning, governance, reporting and disciplined operations.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Operations and UX/UI teams in London and Paris to set scope, agree priorities and ship customer-focused results.
  • Coordinate development teams and stakeholders so responsibility is clear and work moves efficiently.
  • Build trust and shape decisions with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Help deliver new digital sports experiences across the UK sports products.
  • Advocate for the customer, weighing usability, performance, accessibility and operational readiness in decisions.
  • Support a smooth handover from concept to launch with Design and Product.
  • Spot risks, blockers and delivery issues early, then drive mitigation and escalate on time.
  • Keep momentum and stakeholder confidence when priorities shift or direction is unclear.
  • Use data and insight to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Refine programme management practices, planning, release management and cross-team working.
  • Set up scalable operating routines, metrics, dashboards and reporting for visibility.
  • Promote Agile practice and delivery quality across partner teams.
  • Give clear updates on status, risks and decisions to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Host programme reviews, planning meetings and updates for executives.
  • Mentor other TPMs and strengthen programme management across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager or in a similar role in technology.
  • Track record delivering large software programmes across several engineering and product teams.
  • Experience with consumer digital products, ideally in media, streaming, sports, entertainment or subscription services.
  • Solid grasp of software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, release processes and digital product delivery.
  • Experience running programmes across web and mobile.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams across functions, locations and organisational lines.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, with skill at facilitating meetings and presenting.
  • Strong organisation, able to juggle competing priorities and several initiatives.
  • Skill at spotting risks early, solving complex problems and delivering business results.
  • Enthusiasm for sport, media and technology, with a drive to create excellent fan experiences.
