Description

The company builds an AI-powered communications platform that helps teams win with customers.

The product brings voice, SMS and WhatsApp together with over 250 integrations in one workspace, so customer conversations can drive revenue, solve issues faster and build trust. AI voice agents take routine interactions while people lead the conversations that matter most. More than 24,000 businesses use it worldwide.

The company has over 600 staff from more than 40 nationalities across Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney and Mexico City. It values ambition, product thinking, execution, fast decisions and visible impact.

This is an entry-level role on a 6-month Spanish training contract (contrato formativo para la obtención de la práctica profesional) for recent graduates who want their first real software engineering work in a product team shipping to production. At the end, depending on performance and business needs, there may be a chance to move to a permanent contract.

You get a mentor from the team who meets you regularly. Your individual training plan moves month by month: first the product, codebase and practices, then supervised tasks, then owning features end to end. You also get a mid-term review, a final review and a certificate of professional practice when the contract ends.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test and release backend features in TypeScript/Node.js, with some Python, on AWS.
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
  • Learn to monitor and run services in production, covering logs, metrics, alerts and incident follow-up.
  • Partner with product managers, designers and engineers to understand the problems users face.
  • Work hands-on with AI and LLM features running in production.
  • By the end of the program, own a feature from design through to production.

Requirements

  • Hold a qualifying degree (university degree, Master's or Higher VET / FP Grado Superior) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field, completed within the last 3 years.
  • Have not had more than 6 months of professional practice contracts in Spain for this degree before.
  • Solid grounding in one or more programming languages, for example TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java or Go, gained through study, personal projects, internships or hackathons.
  • Basic working knowledge of Git, REST APIs and databases.
  • Curiosity, a drive to learn and openness to feedback.
  • Clear English communication, since English is the working language.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), Docker or CI/CD.
  • Projects with LLMs, NLP or speech technology.
  • Some frontend work with React.
  • Tech stack: TypeScript/Node.js, Python, REST and GraphQL APIs, React, AWS (Serverless, EKS), PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch and Redis. You do not need to know every tool already; you will pick them up during the role.

Conditions

Six-month Spanish training contract (contrato formativo), with a possible move to a permanent contract afterwards based on performance and business needs.
