The company is a technology firm that serves the US federal government, with more than 13,000 people working across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health clients.

The team is a cross-functional group building software for one client, and this role is a software developer position on it.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, visually polished layouts in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the SharePoint platform, working with feature managers.
• Make sure the interface works across browsers and devices so users get a smooth experience everywhere.
• Turn UI/UX designs and wireframes into visual elements that match the specifications.
• Build dynamic features with the Vue3 framework and possibly connect to Tableau for data visualization.
• Consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs to load and display data efficiently and keep it working well with the front end.
• Improve front-end speed and responsiveness through sound coding practices and careful resource management.
• Test the interface, find and fix bugs, and help keep the user experience high quality and free of errors.
• Take part in code reviews to keep code consistent across the team.
• Write up development processes, coding standards, and UI/UX guidelines so new team members can get up to speed.
• Train and support end users and team members on new features.
• Work with back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to keep development cohesive and efficient.
• Gather requirements, share progress updates, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience with SharePoint, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of database technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server, and the ability to integrate them into SharePoint or Power Platform environments.
• Experience with SharePoint development and customization.
• Experience with a frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methods, or both.
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Ability to adapt to shifting requirements and priorities in an agile environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Conditions

Pay ranges are based on labor costs and shown for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

The base pay range for this position in those locations is $91,700 - $178,700 USD.

Actual pay depends on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience level.
