The company is a firm that puts its people and clients first, and the role supports its digital platforms.

This is a new role reporting to the Digital Manager, for an experienced individual contributor who works closely with the Front-End Developer.

You will maintain and improve the company's site website and its wider digital platform ecosystem, keeping it technically sound, functional, fast, and evolving.

Beyond building and fixing things, you will assess requirements, spot opportunities and risks, and recommend scalable solutions for the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's site website.
  • Create and improve website components, templates, forms, and reusable features.
  • Build and extend CMS functionality, such as Kentico, covering content models, page types, landing pages, workflows, and publishing.
  • Work on both front-end (React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS/SCSS) and back-end (ASP.NET Core, C) code.
  • Build and support integrations between the company's site and CMS, database, analytics, workflow, API, and enterprise systems.
  • Use SQL databases to support site features, reporting, integrations, and automation.
  • Weigh speed of delivery against scalability, maintainability, security, and long-term platform health when assessing requirements.
  • Maintain Azure DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and modern deployment practices.
  • Work with Digital, UX, Analytics, CRM, IT, and business stakeholders to assess requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Monitor the health, security, performance, reliability, and stability of the company's site and related platforms.
  • Investigate production issues and coordinate fixes with internal teams, vendors, and technology partners.
  • Support platform upgrades, CMS updates, hotfixes, testing, and releases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack.NET development, software engineering, or digital platform development.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience building and supporting public-facing websites or digital platforms.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong skills in React, Vue.js, or a similar front-end framework.
  • Strong skills in ASP.NET Core and C.
  • Strong skills in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Skill in database design, query optimization, and data integration.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern deployment workflows.
  • Experience with CMS platforms. Kentico experience is an asset.
  • Experience with reporting automation, data workflows, or system integrations is a strong asset.
  • Nice to have: Kentico CMS.
  • Nice to have: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Nice to have: SEO/AEO implementation, web performance, and analytics/tagging.
  • Nice to have: AI-enabled tools and integrations.
