Senior Frontend Engineer - Marketing (all genders)

The company is bringing its two websites in-house after an agency ran them until now, and this role will own both. One site is for the enterprise commerce platform for fashion and lifestyle brands. The other is for an AI photo studio with self-service sign-up and checkout.

Responsibilities

• Move the main marketing website from WordPress to a modern, AI-assisted stack so releases are faster, the agency is no longer needed, and the site keeps a premium, engaging feel with strong performance.
• Own the AI photo studio website, building navigation, landing pages, onboarding flows and modules that drive activation and conversions.
• Handle technical SEO and Generative Engine Optimization so both search engines and LLMs index the sites well, while keeping media-heavy pages fast.
• Work with the Demand team to set up event tracking and A/B tests, and use the results to improve user journeys.
• Work directly with Content, Product and Demand to turn growth initiatives into live web experiences quickly.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code in daily engineering work, and build secure, simple publishing paths so non-technical colleagues can publish content themselves.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of senior hands-on web development, ideally in B2B SaaS or marketing, with a coder's mindset and a good eye for design and UX.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, plus Ruby on Rails with Hotwire. You also know WordPress well enough to lead a clean move to a headless setup or to React or Next.js.
• Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, media and video optimization, CDNs, technical SEO and AI-driven search (GEO).
• A record of building high-converting landing pages and sign-up flows, including payment integrations such as Stripe, backed by A/B testing and tracking.
• You take ownership quickly and use AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to ship fast.
• Fluent English. German is a plus.
• An interest in fashion, e-commerce or creative technology is a plus.
