Senior Systems Engineer Windows Operations

Responsibilities

• Keep your customers' IT infrastructure running smoothly, maintaining and tuning their systems so they perform at their best.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, and work with the latest technology on new solutions that may shape how the industry operates.
• Prepare new services and guide change management processes, while continuing to build your technical knowledge.
• Troubleshoot critical customer incidents and deliver quick fixes that keep systems secure, reliable and efficient.
• Size and optimise systems so customers' business performance stays at a high level.
• You may also work on large-scale projects and collaborate with IT professionals across the world.

Requirements

• Show strong experience in your field, a growth mindset that drives your own development, a focus on customer success, and an inclusive approach when working with others.
• Have proven experience in system management, network administration and technical support.
• Have a solid understanding of operating systems such as Windows, networks and software systems.
• Be familiar with cyber security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, IT security architecture, risk management, cyber threat hunting and cyber security standards.
• Have expertise in data warehousing, database administration and design, data quality, data modelling, data architecture and several programming languages.
• Speak German and English fluently.
• Preferred: systematic thinking and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of Windows.
• Preferred: certifications in cyber security, cloud computing or project management.
• Preferred: experience with Windows infrastructure operations, Active Directory, DNS, PKI, clustering, MSSQL, IIS, virtualisation, automation, networking and storage.

Conditions

Full-time role with a minimum yearly salary of €74,200. The exact salary is agreed in a personal interview and depends on your experience, qualifications and education.

The role supports customers in Austria, so a valid work permit is required.

The setup is hybrid-friendly.
