Senior Project Manager

Description

You will lead cross-functional teams that deliver product development projects while keeping them aligned with customer expectations and business goals.

You will manage each project from launch to delivery, with control over timelines, budgets, quality, resources and risks. You will work with engineering, quality, sales, supply chain and manufacturing, and make sure the work follows the company's PDP. The company serves customers in automotive, aerospace and defense, energy, industrials, medical and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, running and delivery of product development projects so that cost, quality, timing and delivery targets are met.
• Build and maintain project plans, business cases, risk plans and resource allocation strategies that fit the PDP.
• Bring engineering, quality, sales, supply chain and manufacturing together to reach milestones and deliver each project.
• Track quality results against First Time Quality (FTQ) targets and Worldwide Formal Customer Complaints (WFCC) objectives.
• Handle project finances: prepare budgets, plan CAPEX, forecast investment, track spending and manage approvals.
• Serve as the main contact for customers and suppliers, communicating clearly, keeping stakeholders aligned and resolving project issues promptly.
• Run project reviews, follow resource use and working hours in PlanView, and send regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep projects compliant with the PDP, maintain accurate documentation, review relevant test reports and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Around 10 years or more of project management experience, including leading complex projects or large cross-functional teams in an international setting.
• A track record of running complex projects across plans, milestones, budgets, risks, KPIs and customer deliverables.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and shape decisions without direct line authority.
• Clear communication, presentation and synthesis skills, and comfort engaging with customers, senior managers and executives.
• A solid grasp of finance and business, including budget control, cost monitoring and tracking project performance.
• Self-directed, adaptable and solution-focused, able to balance competing priorities, handle ambiguity and take ownership from day one.
• Automotive experience, especially in ADAS or camera and radar systems, is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Backgrounds from other industrial, software or business environments are also welcome.
