AI/ML Data Engineer

Description

The company designs, develops and validates vehicle systems that improve safety and comfort. It is hiring an AI/ML Data Engineer for its engineering centre in Krakow, Poland.

You will work on checking the quality of data recorded in vehicles, automating validation drives, and deriving insights from in-vehicle data for the urban hands-off driving solution.

The role mixes data analysis with practical data engineering. You will help build pipelines that extract, transform and load data into cloud platforms and tools.

The job sits in the Innovation Engineering group, where you will help design a big data system that receives data from, and works closely with, the company's embedded driver assistance and user experience software.

Responsibilities

• Build checks and metrics that confirm in-vehicle data meets functional requirements.
• Create tools that sort and triage data and that automate validation drives.
• Develop, run and apply insights drawn from in-vehicle data.
• Build APIs and clean and organise both raw and processed data.
• Work with engineering, product and domain experts across teams.

Requirements

• A BSc or MSc in Data Science, Robotics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Skill in data analytics, algorithm design and machine learning.
• Solid Python software development skills.
• Working knowledge of statistics and core data science methods.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging ability.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Highly beneficial: C++ or Rust, and scripting or query languages such as bash or SQL.
• Highly beneficial: knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, plus Docker, containers or Kubernetes.
• Highly beneficial: experience with embedded or edge AI systems.
• Highly beneficial: familiarity with ADAS, autonomous driving or automotive datasets.
• Highly beneficial: experience with Git and CI/CD.

Conditions

Hybrid work with at least 47 days per year of remote work.
