PE Program Manager

Description

You will lead cross-functional teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to deliver projects on time and meet their goals, following the company's procedures and strategy.

You will guide product and process development from the customer nomination stage through to handover to serial production at the CT Gate.

The company builds safety and autonomy technology for automotive and commercial vehicles, and also supplies aerospace and defense, energy, industrial, and medical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the successful execution of assigned projects and deliverables, tracking program metrics and performance.
• Build and maintain the project plan and master schedule.
• Act as the main contact for the customer on program updates, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Direct the project team and other relevant staff to hit program targets.
• Run regular program reviews covering progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Keep operations, process steps, and other functions aligned so production starts without disruption.
• Make sure pilot and prototype builds in operations run correctly and meet the customer's delivery dates.
• Keep the plant manager, the program manager, and the program team up to date with reporting, progress, and blockers.
• Lead inter-regional projects when capacity allows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• A record of leading teams, working in a team-oriented way, and communicating clearly.
• Solid knowledge of automotive and industry standards and product development processes such as APQP and FMEA, including DFMEA.
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Risk management skills.
• Ability to juggle several priorities and hit tight deadlines.
