Description

The role bridges business operational needs and the technical teams, including software engineers and infrastructure administrators.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in Information Systems (IS) and combines technical knowledge, project management experience and strong stakeholder management to deliver technology initiatives that support business goals.

The company is a European provider of digital services, helping organizations handle ongoing technological change. Its work covers consulting, application services, digital engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, platforms and infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

  • Set project scope by matching business objectives with what the Information System can deliver.
  • Balance timeline, budget, resources and delivery quality so the project stays workable.
  • Spot, assess and reduce technical and functional risks that could affect delivery.
  • Lead teams that span business, functional and technical areas.
  • Run the full Information Systems lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis through deployment, training and Go-Live.
  • Keep business stakeholders and technical teams communicating clearly with each other.
  • Handle dependencies, technical bottlenecks, environment availability, resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead project governance, reporting and performance monitoring from start to finish.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and good practice across project teams.

Requirements

  • Technical skills: a thorough grasp of the Information Systems (IS) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), covering requirements gathering and analysis, environment preparation, development, testing, user training, and deployment and Go-Live.
  • Working knowledge of cloud migration projects, database management, networking fundamentals and basic cybersecurity concepts.
  • Understanding of system integrations, especially between ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and business applications or functional modules.
  • Advanced use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Trello.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, including practical Agile experience with Scrum, Kanban and Lean.
  • Knowledge of the Waterfall methodology for infrastructure and ERP implementations that need sequential planning and strong predictability.
  • Soft skills: clear communication that turns technical detail into business language and back again.
  • Leadership and team management within multidisciplinary environments.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
  • Resilience and adaptability when priorities shift, projects slip, incidents become critical or scope changes.
  • Strong organization and decision-making.
  • Professional profile: a proven record managing Information Systems and digital transformation projects.
  • Able to work comfortably in both business and technical settings.
  • Focused on delivery quality and business value.
  • Strong analytical thinking and risk management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
