Description

The company develops world-leading separation technologies for sectors such as energy, food, water and shipping. It has a 140-year history but still works like a start-up, and it is growing quickly.

This Senior Product Manager role covers the High-Speed Separators (HSS) product line. You will own the platform strategy and drive innovation with R&D so that the offering keeps pace with the changing needs of customers across several portfolios. The role suits a strategic leader with deep technical knowledge who cares about sustainability and innovation.

You will keep the product lines competitive across their full life cycle, working with Capital Sales, Service, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Supply.

Responsibilities

  • Turn customer needs and market demand into suitable product offerings.
  • Define product requirements for R&D, Engineering and Supply, and own the Market Demand Specification together with the Portfolio Managers.
  • Build and maintain a product development roadmap that sets priorities for the next 3-18 months.
  • Track each product and act to protect its competitiveness across its lifecycle.
  • Assess economies of scale across product lines and platforms.
  • Shape product assortment strategy to support order intake, gross margin and quality targets.
  • Analyse and approve product costs and cost structures.
  • Manage the obsolescence and discontinuation of products that no longer meet customer requirements or the platform strategy.
  • Maintain clear phase-in and phase-out roadmaps.
  • Work with Marketing to launch new products and product updates and follow them up afterwards.

Requirements

  • You think strategically, linking customer needs and business goals to a competitive offering, and you turn that strategy into clear priorities and concrete actions.
  • You are self-driven, take ownership of your work, see activities through and make sure decisions produce results. You can decide with incomplete or uncertain information, weighing risks against opportunities.
  • You communicate clearly and build strong working relationships across functions. You are curious about customers, products, technologies and markets, and you keep asking questions to find improvements and new opportunities.
  • Required: a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Required: at least 8 years of relevant experience in product design, product management, product lifecycle management or technical sales.
  • Required: the ability to link R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality.
  • Required: strong business acumen and an understanding of customer, technical and commercial requirements.
  • Preferred: in-depth knowledge of separation technology and how separation systems work.
  • Preferred: fluent written and spoken English, as the role is part of a global organization.

Conditions

Applications close on 13.11.2026, and the company reviews applications on an ongoing basis.

After you apply, you must complete the Pymetrics behavioural assessment games, which are mandatory.

The company is committed to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in its hiring.
