Description

The team designs the consumer experience across the company's apps, smart speakers, TVs, cars and partner integrations, shaping anything a listener touches.

The role sits in Seamless within Platform & Partner Experience and centres on the company Connect, the features that let people find, pick and control the device the company plays on.

You combine insight into user behaviour with product judgement and an understanding of the technology, so that complicated interactions feel simple and people can rely on what you build.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product strategy and roadmap for your area of the company Connect, translating the wider Seamless direction into concrete priorities.
  • Work with research and data colleagues to learn how people move across devices, find friction, and decide how success is measured.
  • Work with engineering and design to make device discovery, playback control and switching between devices intuitive and dependable.
  • Split your time between improving everyday usability and reliability and running experiments that surface new value.
  • Coordinate across teams and partner-facing functions to handle dependencies and deliver one consistent end-to-end experience.
  • Look into what richer device data and new interaction methods make possible, always putting privacy, permissions and user control first.
  • Explain product decisions, progress and outcomes clearly, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • You have owned and shipped high-quality consumer products, from defining the problem through launch and later iteration.
  • You turn user needs into clear priorities and keep work moving despite several dependencies.
  • You are at ease with technically complex products and can link how the system behaves to what the user experiences.
  • You can discuss and challenge strategic and technical complexity with senior stakeholders.
  • You make decisions using both quantitative and qualitative evidence and have designed and learned from experiments.
  • You pay close attention to the details that make a product reliable and easy to use.
  • You communicate clearly, work well across disciplines, and are happy to get hands-on.
  • You have worked with connected devices, playback, platform or cross-device products, or you want to build expertise in these areas.
  • The role is based in Stockholm or London.

Conditions

Work is flexible: you can choose where you work best, with some in-person meetings expected.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates regardless of background.

Accommodations are available on request at any stage of the recruitment process.
