Field Sales Engineer – Separation & Heat Transfer Technology

The company develops world-leading separation and heat transfer technologies for energy, food, water and shipping, and has been building on a start-up culture for 140 years.

The Energy team is hiring a Field Sales Engineer to own sales of high-speed separators, decanters and heat exchangers.

You will work directly with customers in energy, process industries, recycling, bio-based industries and circular economy applications, helping them raise efficiency, reliability and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Sell industrial process solutions, including high-speed separators, decanters and heat exchangers.
• Build long-term partnerships with customers in energy, process industries, recycling, biofuels, biochemicals and circular economy sectors.
• Find new business opportunities and turn them into steady revenue growth.
• Run the full sales cycle, from lead generation and technical discussions to quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Learn how customers' processes work and propose optimized, value-driven solutions.
• Work with application engineers, service teams and internal experts to deliver tailored solutions.
• Create and carry out account strategies that maximize long-term customer value.

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales, field sales or business development in industrial, energy, process or environmental sectors.
• Solid understanding of industrial processes, including heat transfer and/or separation technologies.
• Ability to turn customer needs into clear technical and commercial value propositions.
• Strong relationship-building skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-driven, results-focused approach.
• Able to work independently in a field-based role.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fluent English.
• Willing to travel frequently.
