Senior iOS Developer (m/f/d)

Description

The company is Europe's largest e-pharmacy and builds its mobile platform in-house.

You will shape the architecture of the mobile platform, with scalable, modular solutions that let six cross-functional teams ship features efficiently and sustainably.

Your work will have high visibility and a direct effect on how the iOS ecosystem grows as the company scales.

Tech stack: Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swift Testing, Xcode Cloud, Swift packages, SPM, latest iOS SDK.

Responsibilities

• Drive modularization and keep evolving a scalable iOS architecture.
• Define, build out and refine technical standards and architecture guidelines.
• Review and steer key architectural decisions across several teams.
• Make CI/CD more reliable, speed up builds and improve release processes.
• Build a sound testing strategy and quality foundation that all teams can use.
• Improve app stability, performance and overall technical health.
• Pay down technical debt in a deliberate way while making product teams faster through platform work.

Requirements

• Strong Swift skills and experience with large production apps.
• A deep grasp of modular architecture and scalable app structure.
• Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM or similar patterns.
• Solid understanding of modern concurrency and memory management on iOS.
• Solid experience with unit testing and raising test coverage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of release processes.
• Effective cross-team collaboration, plus strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
