Senior AI Engineer

Description

The team works with modern machine learning frameworks, generative AI tools, scalable data platforms, cloud infrastructure and MLOps tooling to keep AI systems running in production from start to finish.

The role puts AI to work in digital healthcare, where results affect patient outcomes and daily operations. You will pair a solid software engineering base with applied AI skills and turn ambitious ideas into dependable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve scalable machine learning and generative AI systems that create measurable value for customers and internal operations.
• Build reliable end-to-end pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring and ongoing improvement of AI in production.
• Work with product, engineering, data and business colleagues to bring AI into core digital healthcare systems and operations.
• Research and apply new AI advances to make solutions more innovative and effective.
• Act as the AI technical owner, setting the technical roadmap and driving the AI lifecycle across strategic initiatives.
• Follow and help maintain governance, experimentation, model quality, versioning, observability and compliance practices in a regulated environment.
• Take end-to-end ownership of AI initiatives and help define how intelligent systems are built into the organisation.

Requirements

• Solid experience building production-grade machine learning and generative AI solutions, with a strong focus on systems that run reliably.
• A strong software engineering background combined with applied AI expertise.
• Interest in the overlap of technology, healthcare and business impact.
• An ownership mindset and curiosity about new AI developments.
• You enjoy collaborating and prefer shared problem solving over tackling hard challenges alone.
