Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed for demanding operating environments.

The Perception team works on computer vision, robotics and sensor systems, covering object detection, tracking, sensor processing and guidance.

You will sit in the On-Vehicle AI group and work with hardware, autonomy and data engineers to move perception algorithms onto target hardware as robust, real-time software.

The work sits where software, AI and physical systems meet, and it shapes how the platforms perform.

Responsibilities

  • Build and tune computer vision algorithms so they run in real time on target hardware.
  • Create dependable modules for object detection, target tracking, guidance and navigation, and target re-identification.
  • Take part in the whole software lifecycle, from design and architecture through to deployment on physical devices.
  • Handle data engineering and bug fixing, and keep measuring model performance over time.
  • Track new technologies and trends, then propose and build the ones worth adopting.
  • Question requirements regularly and focus effort on what helps real-time operations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
  • Broad computer vision skills, with a record of writing algorithms and getting them running on target hardware.
  • Python and C++ for computer vision work.
  • Experience in robotics, autonomous driving or aerospace.
  • Strong problem-solving, including fixing complex faults under real-time limits.
  • Experience with ROS and ROS 2.
  • Experience with optical navigation or real-time object detection pipelines.
  • Background in target re-identification or multi-sensor tracking.
  • Send your CV in English.

Conditions

You must be able to obtain and keep the security clearance this role needs, as the defence sector requires. Details come during recruitment.

The company is open to all genders.

Benefits

  • Your work protects personnel and helps defend European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside leading engineers on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, and bold ideas get backed by substantial R&D funding.
