Description

The company is Europe's leading e-pharmacy and is moving its Strategic Procurement function toward more data-led decisions across its European markets.

This is a technical role for a data analyst who builds dependable, scalable analytics and turns complex data into information teams can use.

You will own the technical base of Procurement reporting and performance analysis, working on large datasets, automated pipelines and reporting, and help the Procurement teams shift from manual work to automated processes.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform and analyse large datasets from several systems using SQL, dbt and other suitable tools.
  • Design, build and keep improving interactive Power BI dashboards that track Procurement performance in the European markets.
  • Create scalable data models, automate recurring reports and replace manual Excel workflows.
  • Find and fix data inconsistencies, raise data quality and define consistent KPI definitions and reporting structures.
  • Build analytical reporting on key Procurement KPIs: supplier bonuses, purchasing conditions, payment terms, purchasing volumes, direct supply share and supplier profitability.
  • Develop analyses that monitor supplier performance, flag deviations and support bonus forecasts, profitability studies and commercial decisions.
  • Work with Strategic Procurement, Data/BI and Finance/Controlling to turn business needs into technical solutions.
  • Look for ways to improve the data infrastructure, reporting and analytical processes using modern technology and automation.

Requirements

  • A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics or a comparable field.
  • Hands-on SQL and Power BI skills, including data modelling, data transformation and dashboard development.
  • Experience with dbt or a comparable transformation framework. Knowledge of Databricks or a similar modern data platform is a plus.
  • A solid grasp of data structures, ETL/ELT processes, data quality and reporting architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with complex datasets.
  • Experience building automated, scalable reporting, ideally in a commercial, retail, e-commerce or Procurement setting.
  • The ability to understand business requirements and turn them into reliable technical solutions.
  • A structured, proactive and detail-oriented way of working, with curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Very good English communication skills. German is an advantage.

Conditions

If the role does not require office presence, your place of work can be arranged individually, including up to 20 days a year from anywhere in the EU.

Benefits

  • Regular team events and parties to celebrate successes together.
  • A kindergarten grant of 100,00 € (total) per month for employees who pay for kindergarten childcare.
  • Free, anonymous help from psychologists at nilo when work or personal life feels overwhelming.
  • Internal and external training to support your career development.
  • A fully costed Deutschland Ticket that you can use at any time.
  • A membership (M) package at Urban Sports Club with sports offers matched to your interests.
