Description

The company is Europe's No. 1 e-pharmacy, and the AI team builds intelligent systems for digital healthcare.

The role shapes how AI is used across the business to affect patient outcomes and day-to-day operations.

The team works on modern machine learning frameworks, generative AI tools, scalable data platforms, cloud infrastructure and MLOps tooling that cover the whole life of production AI systems.

You would combine software engineering skills with applied AI work and turn ambitious ideas into reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and improve scalable machine learning and generative AI systems that create measurable value in customer-facing and internal operations.
  • Build dependable end-to-end pipelines for training, evaluating, deploying, monitoring and steadily improving AI solutions in production.
  • Work with product, engineering, data and business colleagues to bring AI into core digital healthcare systems and operations.
  • Research and apply the latest AI developments to make the team's solutions more innovative and effective.
  • Act as AI Technical Owner, setting the technical roadmap and leading the full AI lifecycle across strategic initiatives.
  • Follow and help maintain the team's practices for governance, experimentation, model quality, versioning, observability and compliance in a regulated setting.

Requirements

  • Solid experience building machine learning and generative AI solutions that run reliably in production.
  • Interest in the overlap of technology, healthcare and business impact.
  • A sense of ownership, plus the curiosity to explore new AI developments.
  • You work well with others and prefer sharing hard problems to solving them alone.

Conditions

Your place of work is set individually when your role does not need you in the office, including up to 20 days a year anywhere in the EU.

The work takes place in a regulated environment, so compliance practices apply.

Benefits

  • Support for your personal development through internal and external training.
  • Team events and regularly scheduled celebrations of company successes.
  • A company pension scheme, with a dedicated external consultant who gives guidance and advice.
  • Free, anonymous and fast access to professional psychologists if you feel overwhelmed at work or in private life.
