Senior Flutter Engineer - Purchase & Post Purchase (all genders)

Description

The company is one of Europe's fastest growing e-commerce companies, operating at the intersection of fashion and technology from offices in Hamburg and Berlin.

You will join the Purchase and Post Purchase area and work on the AY App, one of the most widely used Flutter applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and release new high-impact features and improvements in the AY App using Dart and Flutter.
• Ship new components and high-leverage features together with experienced engineers, product managers, QA and designers.
• Find and resolve technical debt on your own initiative, and build internal tools that make the team more productive.
• Shape team processes through regular agile retrospectives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of mobile development experience, including at least 1 year of Flutter development.
• Extensive experience releasing production apps with Dart and Flutter.
• Strong skills in UI development and in building complex frontend logic.
• Deep knowledge of the Flutter framework and commonly used packages.
• You write structured, efficient, maintainable code and help keep the quality of the codebase high.
• Design awareness and the ability to work closely with designers.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment.
• Expertise in UI and animation development.
