Senior Implementation Consultant

Description

The company builds a cloud banking platform for financial institutions and is hiring a senior consultant to configure and extend it for customers.

Implementation Consultants are the product experts. They advise on how the platform fits into a financial institution's wider systems and also do hands-on build work.

Strong candidates have deep Salesforce architecture experience and hold, or plan to earn, App Builder and Administrator certifications. Past work on loan origination or servicing systems helps when advising customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply a deep knowledge of Salesforce declarative automation and data integrity tools to configure and extend the platform.
• Assess whether a need is better met by configuration or by customization, and explain your reasoning.
• Set up product features with the end user in mind, weighing the effort each one takes.
• Explain the challenges that come with environment strategy and moving changes between environments.
• Suggest sound extensions to the platform's data model and share them with the team.
• Troubleshoot using configuration review, debug logs and Chrome developer tools.
• Design solutions using Salesforce and platform UX and security features to meet requirements.
• Run quality control and testing on platform features.
• Use complementary Salesforce tools effectively.
• Understand common integrations.
• Understand and apply DevOps practices.
• Build cross-team collaboration to deliver configuration that serves the end user.
• Coach others on continuous learning and map out a personal learning path that supports career growth.
• Use AI tools to automate routine tasks, improving accuracy, saving time and reducing errors.
• Apply AI-driven insights to sharpen decisions, improve customer experience and lift team productivity, making sure each use delivers measurable value.
• Keep up with AI developments to keep learning and find new ways to grow.

Requirements

• Typically at least 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience where applicable.
• 4+ years of Salesforce.com architecture experience.
• Certified in Salesforce App Builder and Administrator.
• Experience analyzing, defining and implementing solution, information, technical and application architecture.
• Knowledge of or experience with various data encryption methods.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to banking customers.
• Desired: experience with AutoRabit, Copado or SFX.
• Desired: experience with Smartsheet or Jira.
• Desired: experience with loan origination or servicing systems and an enterprise architecture framework.

Conditions

The role may involve some travel.

The base salary range is $86,100 to $146,400 CAD. The range is set from market data and the company's pay philosophy, may change, and base salary is only one part of total compensation. The recruiter can share more details during hiring.
