The Site Reliability Engineering group in Dublin is growing to keep this product line resilient, fast and scalable for millions of customers.

We are hiring a senior technical leader with deep experience in SRE, cloud operations and project ownership to shape reliability practices for customer-facing experiences and the services behind them.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and build of fault-tolerant, observable infrastructure for mobile and web experiences, in-vehicle services, and the backend platforms and integrations behind them.
• Drive configuration management, infrastructure refactoring and testing frameworks to make systems more resilient.
• Work with SRE, development and product teams to improve reliability, safer deployments and incident response.
• Advise on reliability standards for new capabilities, customer releases and platform projects, and help plan that work.
• Set the observability direction using Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog, including automated alerts and SLO dashboards you can act on.
• Improve on-call practice, run blameless postmortems and lead root cause analysis to remove repeat failures.
• Coach engineers and help build a high-performing culture based on extreme ownership and operational excellence.
• Support compliance and privacy engineering across connected services, which may extend to data retention and safety certification tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps or systems engineering, including managing or mentoring high-impact teams.
• Experience building and running high-scale, cloud-native systems, ideally on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Hands-on skill with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for container orchestration and deployment strategies.
• Working knowledge of Python, Go or Java, with strong standards for code review and readability.
• Background leading cross-functional infrastructure projects, configuration strategy or internal tooling initiatives.
• Calm, effective decision-making under pressure, whether debugging a live incident or weighing uptime against cost.
• Strong communication skills that help you influence, mentor and lead across varied technical teams.
• Familiarity with privacy engineering, data security or compliance frameworks is a plus.

Conditions

Based in Dublin.

Hybrid role: you report to the office at least three times per week, or at another frequency the business sets.
