The team delivers enterprise AI engagements for clients, from initial alignment through production adoption.
This senior role combines hands-on building with client-facing consulting, pre-sales support and the creation of reusable methods.
AI is the core of the job. Cloud engineering helps but is not required.
Responsibilities
Own the technical AI workstream with client teams, working alongside adoption and change colleagues from alignment through close.
Run working sessions, use-case prioritization, prompt and flow design, build reviews, testing and executive readouts.
Build agents, copilots, automations and generative AI workflows tied to real business processes, data, identity, permissions, APIs and systems.
Turn client priorities, user needs, constraints, risks and value measures into use cases, designs, plans and measurable deliverables.
Build proofs of concept and prototypes that test edge cases, grounding, integrations, model choices, evaluation, guardrails, human oversight and user experience before production commitments.
Create reusable assets such as reference architectures, agent patterns, prompt and flow libraries, evaluation methods, labs, guides, assessment tools, playbooks and governance templates.
Support sales, solution architects and practice leaders on discovery, whiteboarding, technical validation, estimates, proposals and SOWs, and feed delivery lessons back into scoping.
Lead multidisciplinary teams: set AI engineering and quality standards, mentor colleagues, review solutions and prompts, unblock technical issues and advise client and company leaders.
Help develop service offers, enable sellers and delivery teams, share field feedback, and strengthen methods, governance and responsible AI practice.
Complete ongoing security awareness training and follow company policies.
Report security risks to the right Executive Leadership Team member and help fix them.
Take on other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Hands-on experience designing and delivering production AI solutions such as agents, copilots, automations or generative AI apps for enterprise customers.
Deep knowledge of at least one enterprise AI platform, such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Gemini Enterprise, Anthropic Claude, ChatGPT or a similar platform, and the ability to get productive quickly on a second.
Experience connecting AI to enterprise identities, permissions, APIs, business apps, documents, knowledge bases and data sources, beyond curated demos.
Solid grasp of RAG, grounding, embeddings, vector or hybrid search, prompt and flow engineering, model selection, evaluation, guardrails, observability and human oversight.
Proven record delivering directly to enterprise clients through discovery, use-case workshops, design discussions, prototypes, build reviews, user testing and knowledge transfer.
Skill at turning business processes and user needs into practical AI experiences, designs, implementation plans and measurable results.
Strong written communication, with examples of solution designs, prompt and flow documentation, implementation guides, test plans, governance materials and executive recommendations.
Working knowledge of APIs, authentication, data integration, scripting, low-code or pro-code automation, source control and testing. Cloud engineering experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Able to manage several technical workstreams, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and keep delivery quality high in changing client environments.
Comfortable in an executive workshop, a customer discovery session, an AI prototype review or a technical design review.
Has moved AI solutions beyond demos into real workflows, covering enterprise data, security, governance, measurement and adoption.
Can explain complex AI choices clearly without hiding risks, limitations or tradeoffs.
Has built repeatable delivery methods, service offers, agent patterns, prompt libraries, reference solutions or enablement content that other teams adopted.
Client-first, ethical, curious and accountable, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Cowork, Google Gemini Enterprise and Agent Platform, Anthropic Claude, ChatGPT or comparable enterprise platforms.
