Full-Stack Engineer (Python / React)

Description

The end client is a Swedish telecommunications company that works internationally and serves millions of users. It is looking for a Middle full-stack engineer to join an international team building a Product Information Service.

The service is a cloud-native platform that manages product data and connects several systems, with a focus on reliable data handling, API work and distributed integration.

You would take part in the whole development lifecycle, including architecture discussions, building, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement.

Key technologies: Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Microsoft Azure, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Work on both the back-end and front-end parts of a data-heavy web system.
• Design, build and support REST APIs and links with internal platforms and services.
• Create and grow scalable applications and database layers.
• Produce clean, testable code that follows sound engineering practice.
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Review colleagues' code and help write technical documentation.
• Join regular meetings and planning sessions with stakeholders, engineers and product staff.
• Take part in Agile routines: estimating, grooming the backlog, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Help improve reliability, deployment automation and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
• Solid SQL skills and hands-on PostgreSQL experience.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and React.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and current ways of deploying applications.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as GitLab CI.
• Grasp of development best practices, testing approaches and code quality standards.
• English at an Upper-Intermediate level.
• A plus: experience with Next.js, experience with Microsoft Azure (especially AKS), and familiarity with MCP and RAG-based systems.
• Good at solving problems and analysing complex issues.
• Able to work independently and as part of distributed teams.
• Communicates well and works effectively with stakeholders.
• Proactive, with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Willing to join technical discussions and continuous improvement efforts.
