This role owns new product development from initial concept to shelf for the brands, working as an individual contributor who guides teams through the company's NPD process.

You will keep scope, cost and schedule under control, act as the communication link between groups to reduce risk, and escalate scope creep, cost risk or schedule slips to senior management while working to resolve them.

The role suits someone who has succeeded in a fast-moving product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to bring products to market, managing risk and schedule.
• Work with teams on a go-to-market strategy aimed at strong sales.
• Own every stage of a program, from ideation to end of life.
• Use KPIs and data to inform decisions across teams.
• Identify program risks, build mitigation and contingency plans, and track progress against them.
• Find resource and knowledge gaps and take action to close them or raise them.
• Pass global information to local teams and act as the link that supports the business.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering, technical or business management field (highly desired).
• 3+ years of direct product development experience.
• Experience in new product development or program management is desired; consumer goods industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Assertive, confident and capable.
• Able to build and lead a high-performing team that delivers results.
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills, with experience addressing C-suite leaders, peer functions, suppliers and customers.
• Able to lead across functions.
• A strong bias toward action and accountability.
• Working-level skills in MS Project (or similar), Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and comfortable presenting to large groups, including executives, in person or over MS Teams.

Conditions

Annual salary range: $65,600 - $95,000 USD.

Starting pay within this range depends on factors such as geography or market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications.
