  • You are analytical and detail-oriented, and you spot potential problems and address them creatively.
  • You are curious, hands-on, and committed to elegant solutions that balance engineering and user needs.
  • You manage several projects at once, adjust when priorities shift, and keep the broader design goals in view.
  • You care about user-centered product design, form and function.
  • You have CAD experience in SolidWorks, Creo or Rhino, and basic prototyping skills such as 3D printing and shop work.
  • You have built physical prototypes in materials such as plastic and metal, and you are comfortable on machine shop equipment.
  • Desirable: a basic grasp of electronics used in small appliances, such as motors, sensors and PCBAs.
