Description

The company runs a customer engagement platform that brands use to deliver messages and experiences across channels. It is growing quickly and operates worldwide, with its headquarters in New York and offices in Austin, Berlin, Bucharest, Chicago, Dubai, Jakarta, London, Paris, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo.

You would join the Data Division, the product group behind all of the company's data products. Its goal is to make sure customers can model, send and manage every piece of data they need for their campaigns and workflows across the full engagement stack.

Your work would shape how customers integrate with the platform and send it information, including the user data model, custom attributes and events, data ingestion and catalog data. Research would help you pick the highest-impact problems and design a data model that is easy to manage, trustworthy and flexible enough for advanced engagement strategies.

The team values high standards, teamwork, balance between work and life, and greater equity and opportunity inside and outside the company. People act with autonomy, take ownership of outcomes and stay open to other views.

Responsibilities

  • Define and design high-impact features and refine the experience for projects that improve how customers integrate with the platform and send it information.
  • Design ways for marketers to build cross-channel digital experiences and launch engagement strategies quickly, without heavy engineering work.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX researchers, product analysts, technical writers, engineers and other designers to make the product easier and more pleasant to use.
  • Run user research and usability tests to check design decisions, including talking with customers about how they build campaigns, cutting complexity and adding capability.
  • Produce high-fidelity prototypes and detailed interaction specifications so engineers can build features that perform reliably at enterprise scale.
  • Help build and evolve the design system, creating patterns and components that stay consistent across messaging and orchestration while suiting workflow-based interfaces.
  • Consider how each feature connects to the wider platform and plan for future product changes and customer growth.
  • Present concepts and reasoning to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to shape the roadmap, balancing user needs, business goals and technical limits.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of product design experience, including complex digital products and established design systems, and you can balance consistency with new ideas in enterprise software.
  • You think in systems, understand how features connect, and work with engineers on constraints and options, proposing solutions that users find simple and that can be built.
  • Your process rests on research and evidence. You look for the reasons behind user behavior and business needs, and you measure your solutions against real user outcomes.
  • You collaborate well across product, engineering, research and design, and you influence roadmaps through visuals and clear verbal storytelling.
  • You have strong craft across interaction design, visual design and prototyping, especially for detailed interfaces that handle complex information and workflows. You value micro-interactions and information hierarchy.
  • You stay organized, keep thorough design documentation, hand off work cleanly to engineers, and break ambiguous problems into manageable pieces.
  • Your portfolio shows work on complex applications or workflow tools, with examples of how your decisions improved user outcomes and business metrics. You can explain your process, constraints and impact.

Conditions

Bonus if you have: experience designing marketing automation, customer engagement or campaign management tools.

Bonus if you have: a background in enterprise SaaS, especially products for marketing or business operations teams.

Bonus if you have: experience designing integration or data-mapping experiences for technical or semi-technical users, such as developers or technical marketers configuring custom data.

Bonus if you have: familiarity with how data flows between systems, such as APIs, webhooks and data pipelines, and enough comfort with code or technical documentation to work closely with engineers.

Bonus if you have: experience in agile development with cross-functional product teams.

Bonus if you have: strong fluency with AI tools for prototyping and exploring design concepts.
