Description

The company is a global product design and technology firm that builds lifestyle products sold in homes worldwide, backed by two well-known brands, Shark and Ninja, and a record of launching disruptive innovations across several product categories and gaining market share.

Based in Needham, Massachusetts, with more than 4,100 associates, the company sells through major retailers online and in stores, as well as through distributors around the world.

The company is building an AI-native culture where people experiment boldly, adopt new tools, and push past what seems possible for consumers. It suits people who think the best way to do their work has not been invented yet.

The team works with a demanding mindset: find edges competitors lack, act quickly and iterate, tackle hard problems with confidence, and stay committed to the company's approach even when it is unconventional.

This is a commerce role built around units, revenue, and margin, not reach or engagement alone.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global affiliate and live commerce demand engine for both brands, an affiliate community and a live commerce operation that together aim for $1B in attributed demand.
  • Lead teams across all markets, own the affiliate program and the technology under it, and set the global standard for creator-led and live commerce.
  • Keep the affiliate community strong as the space matures and competition for top affiliates grows. Improve sourcing and vetting, seeding and sampling, the speed from activation to first sale, tiering and progression, and retention of affiliates who sell product.
  • Build category expertise so that a creator selling a robot vacuum is briefed differently from one selling an outdoor pizza oven, since demo, objection, and buying moment differ.
  • Model and tune commission structure, incentive design, and content velocity instead of accepting current defaults.
  • Sharpen the existing affiliate program across tiers, economics, incentives, rules, and creator experience.
  • With Product, specify and build the technology that scales the program: creator CRM and discovery, asset and briefing library, content deployment, link generation and deep linking, cross-platform attribution, payout operations, and clipping tools that turn one livestream or hero demo into many shoppable placements.
  • Evolve how top affiliates are recognized and supported, with early access to product and roadmap, co-created content and collections, stronger commercial terms, and real standing in the business. Design the tiers, benefits, and progression that make creators want to move up.
  • Expand creator-led commerce across TikTok Shop, Meta, YouTube, marketplace creator programs, and owned ecommerce, and move early onto new commerce surfaces as they mature. Run attribution, content, commission, and amplification tools centrally so creators can focus on content and selling. Use signal from one channel to improve the others.
  • Lead global live commerce, raising it from strong to leading. Lead live teams, develop hosts, and hold agency and MCN partners to high operational standards while keeping cost per broadcast hour under control.
  • Own show formats, run of show, programming calendar, studio operating model, and tentpole moments, plus inventory alignment to live moments, offer construction, replay and clip monetization, and the handoff between live and always-on. Work toward continuous streaming that holds viewers who did not come to shop.
  • Lead the global affiliate organization, including in-region teams embedded in local commercial P&Ls, so that global standards and local commercial needs support each other.
  • Build a center of excellence that documents what works, including playbooks, briefing standards, creative libraries, tooling, training, and talent, so new markets launch faster and mature markets keep improving. Keep the organization lean enough to shift resources to what is working across in-house and agency teams.
  • Own the global demand generation number for affiliate and live commerce.
  • Manage cost per attributed transaction, blended return on creator amplification spend, and GMV per live hour as the operation scales.
  • Align offer, promotion, and inventory with Merchandising, Brand, and Supply Chain so the right product is available at the right time.
  • Work with regional commercial leaders, Brand, Product, Legal, and Finance to align affiliate and live commerce with in-market priorities and brand standards.

Requirements

  • You have built affiliate or creator-led commerce into a material revenue channel and can show the GMV, growth, and margin results.
  • You have real commerce experience in ecommerce, merchandising, category management, or marketplace operations, and you understand assortment, pricing, promotion, inventory, and margin, not just reach and engagement.
  • You have built or scaled live commerce, including hosts, formats, production, programming calendars, and agency or MCN management, and you were accountable for what the channel earned.
  • You have recruited, negotiated with, developed, and retained creators at scale, and you know what makes a creator choose one brand over another.
  • You can tell what makes content engaging and what makes it sell, and you can tell a beautiful broadcast from a productive one.
  • You know the mechanics of at least one major commerce platform, including attribution, commission structures, creator tools, and paid amplification, and you learn new platforms quickly.
  • You have worked with Product or engineering to specify and build marketing or commerce technology from the ground up.
  • You can run a channel to a contribution margin target and defend the economics to a leadership team.
  • You have led distributed global teams, including leaders in regional markets, and made a matrixed operating model work.
  • You have launched brands, products, or channels in new international markets.
  • You work well without a settled playbook, where platforms, economics, and rules change often.
  • You are willing to travel internationally and work across time zones spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • The ideal candidate has a hybrid background across commerce, merchandising, creator partnerships, marketing, and production. Almost no one has all five, so tell us which you own outright, which you have run alongside, and which you would hire for. Years served matter less than what you have built and sold.
  • If your experience is mainly brand social or influencer marketing measured by reach, impressions, and engagement rather than units, revenue, and margin, this role will not be a good fit.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role.

The company supports equal opportunity and encourages applicants of all backgrounds.

Benefits

  • Competitive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, employee stock purchase options, wellness programs, product discounts, and other perks.
  • Learning programs for personal and professional growth, with speakers who challenge conventional thinking.
  • A focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, with support for associates to bring their full selves to work and advance their careers.
