The company makes cloud security for customers. Its Zero Trust Exchange platform connects users, devices and applications from any location and is distributed across 200+ public data centers worldwide plus thousands of private edge sites.

The team is building an AI-native company, where human work is supported by machine intelligence, and the platform protects customers from cyberattacks and data loss.

This role sits on the Zero Trust Cloud product management team and covers the Cloud Workloads portfolio. The lead Principal TME is the go-to technical expert and storyteller, turning complex cloud security features into architectures and narratives that help drive adoption with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own technical messaging and reference architectures for macro use cases with Zero Trust Gateway across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and private clouds.
• Grow adoption of micro use cases by demonstrating Microsegmentation policy automation for virtual machines and Kubernetes environments.
• Act as the main technical storyteller, producing whitepapers, blueprints and competitive guides for priority customer and field engagements worldwide.

• You have 8+ years in Technical Marketing, Product Management or Systems Engineering with a focus on cloud-native security.
• You have deep knowledge of multi-cloud networking and security across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and private cloud or on-premises data center architectures.
• You understand Kubernetes (K8s) container networking, microsegmentation, and how to build and enforce policy models.
• You have a solid grasp of enterprise network security, including Layer 4-7 firewalls, proxy architectures and ZIA/SSE.
• Preferred: You have a proven record of using AI technologies and workflows to produce measurable efficiency gains.
• Preferred: You have worked as a single-threaded or sole TME lead, working independently and building a technical marketing program from nothing.
• Preferred: You are an excellent public speaker and technical content creator, with a portfolio of strong whitepapers, architecture blueprints or videos.
• Preferred: You hold active public cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect, or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in San Jose, CA, or remote within the USA.

Full-time position.

Base pay range is $171,500 - $245,000 USD. Actual pay may fall above or below this range depending on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range covers all US locations and excludes commission, bonus, equity (where applicable) and benefits.
