The company needs a Power Platform developer to build custom solutions for its enterprise modernization and data initiatives, supporting mission-critical programs and operations.
The role sits on the Operational Excellence team and focuses on designing, building and deploying tools that streamline operations, improve data visibility and support better decisions.
Responsibilities
Design, architect, test and build custom managed solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform using PowerFX, canvas apps on SharePoint lists and standard connectors, without premium licenses.
Make apps intuitive, scalable, maintainable and responsive, connect them securely to enterprise data sources, and use CSS and HTML to refine layout and content.
Build and maintain Power Automate flows, alone or alongside Power Apps, to automate business-critical processes in a restricted environment without premium connectors, including loops, complex logic and error handling.
Work with JSON to connect flows to APIs, parse and format data, and troubleshoot payload issues.
Create and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced report design, DAX and Power Query, with role-based permissions on every visualization to prevent data exposure.
Own the solution lifecycle with stakeholders and teammates: gather and document requirements, design data structures and flows, develop, test and deliver solutions, and create SharePoint sites, lists and permissions while keeping the wider enterprise architecture in view.
Analyze business processes, apply generative AI where useful, and build tools, reports or other solutions. Turn complex needs into multi-component architectures and implementation roadmaps, and advise stakeholders on technical matters.
Follow team standards for styles, documentation and configuration management, suggest improvements to Power Platform governance and team practices, and collaborate with other developers on architecture, coding, automation logic and design.
Manage competing development priorities and keep code quality high across all work.
Support deployed solutions, handling post-release issues and enhancements, running root cause analysis, recommending lasting fixes and recording findings for continuous improvement.
Keep documentation complete and support training so users across teams adopt new solutions.
Keep up with Power Platform, SharePoint, AI tools and best practices, and adopt new technologies as needed.
