  • Work with engineering teams and contractors across several NASA programs and projects.
  • Follow JSC standard software process practices.

Requirements

  • Desired: Experience with human-rated space vehicles such as Space Shuttle, Space Station, Orion, Commercial Crew and Gateway, and with vehicle software domains such as C&T, C&DH and GN&C.
  • Desired: Experience with NASA Core Flight Software (CFS).
  • Desired: Python development skills.
  • Desired: Embedded software development for real-time operating systems, preferably VxWorks.
  • Desired: Experience with bus communication protocols such as 1553, RS-422, RS-232, USB and Ethernet.

  • Desired: Experience using GitLab and the Git version control system.
  • Desired: Experience using Jira.
  • Desired: Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
