Description

The company is a global leader in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing, focused on oncology, women's health, and organ health. Its goal is to make personalized genetic testing a standard part of care, supporting earlier and more targeted treatment.

You will join the Oncology Marketing team to turn patient engagement strategy into well-run programs. The role suits someone who is highly organized and works across functions to plan, coordinate, measure, and budget patient programs that build brand awareness and patient impact.

The team includes statisticians, geneticists, physicians, laboratory scientists, business professionals, and software engineers, many trained at leading institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional patient engagement projects from the initial brief through launch, keeping work on schedule, within budget, and consistent with the brand.
  • Act as the main contact for selected patient advocacy organizations, managing sponsorship deliverables and co-branded materials.
  • Organize educational and promotional events, covering booth materials, shipping, staff schedules, and lead-capture technology.
  • Gather marketing data from Digital Analytics and build executive dashboards that connect engagement to pipeline and patient measures.
  • Monitor spend by line item, reconcile invoices, and keep budget forecasts accurate.
  • Set production timelines for patient videos, case studies, blogs, and other storytelling content, working with Creative and Medical Affairs.

Requirements

  • You care about amplifying patient and caregiver voices, supporting advocacy work, and keeping the cancer community informed about precision medicine advances.
  • 4-10 years of project or program management experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, or patient advocacy.
  • Experience in oncology or another regulated healthcare setting.
  • Direct or indirect experience with patient-focused education campaigns and advocacy engagements.
  • A bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in a healthcare, science, or business field is preferred.
  • Strong project management habits, including detailed timelines, RACI charts, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Strong organization and careful budget management.
  • Ability to turn complex scientific information into clear, patient-friendly language.
