Middle+ Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

This is a Middle+ project manager role on a remote contract basis.

You will run several cross-department projects, keeping each one on target for scope, timeline and budget.

The work covers process improvement, system integration and change rollout across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide individual projects from start to finish while overseeing several at once across departments, keeping them on scope, schedule and spend.
• Build plans that cover solution design, budget, staffing and risk.
• Map current workflows, spot ways to improve them, and turn findings into concrete project requirements.
• Run research, process modeling, data review and gap analysis to move business process changes forward.
• Communicate with stakeholders at every phase: pin down requirements, share updates, show outcomes and set expectations.
• Direct mixed business and tech teams on scope, priorities and backlog.
• Manage rollout and change so stakeholders stay involved and adoption goes smoothly.
• Coordinate how business systems, processes and technology solutions connect.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience, including taking projects from first request to implementation.
• Experience at a product company or startup serving internal stakeholders and end users.
• Experience managing digital product, SaaS, technology or AI projects.
• Experience with AI-powered products, AI solutions, or processes that use AI.
• Hands-on experience improving business workflows, with implementation work beyond development and standard SDLC processes.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Nice to have: background in business analysis or product management.
• Nice to have: skill with no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble, or Bolt.
